How to publish in Criminal Policy
The articles that Criminal Policy publishes must be original, and should deal with matters related to Penal Science and Criminology.
The articles will be subject to an anonymous checking process by members of the Editorial Committee or evaluators designated by them, who will not know the name of the author. The evaluators will inform if these have been accepted, with or without observations.
The process of evaluation will be directed and implemented by the Director and the Editor of the Journal, who will keep a record of the evaluation forms used. The interested parties will be informed of the checking of the articles, as well as their acceptance or rejection.
The articles, monographs or papers may be presented in two periods during the year: January 1-June 30 and August 1- November 31.
Native and foreign authors may present articles as long as they are sent in an electronic format (Word for Windows or RTF format) in German, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese.
The format must be simple to ease the edition of the text. The writings will be received in one and one half spacing, Times New Roman, size 12 letter type.
The articles should be a minimum of 25,000 words in extension (about 15 pages, letter format) and should mention the following :
Individualization of the article. Each paper must indicate its title. If the topic has been presented in a conference or Congress, express it, mentioning place and date it took place.
Individualization of the authors, indicating full name, profession, academic degree (if it corresponds) and e-mail or mailing address, including city and country.
The papers will be headed by a summary in two languages, of about 150-200 words (between 10 and 15 lines). At the end of the summary, they should include 3 to 5 key or descriptive, words which will permit the identification of the paper.
